We run on chemistry. Our bodies function through chemical compounds produced in response to electrical impulses.
Our body won’t do a single thing without producing specific chemicals.
Simply put, you think – and that thought triggers an entire chemical process.
Now imagine this: your entire life, your body has been running on a certain chemistry shaped by your rules, habits, beliefs, behaviors. What’s more, your entire body has adapted to it – its systems, organs, even bones.
If you spend years in low vibrations like anger, suffering, jealousy, and so on, it’s like you’re dosing yourself with coke or heroin. When you’re in higher vibrations – peace, contentment, joy – you’re running on weed or biofuel.
You’re the producer, the dealer, and the customer all at once.
I want you to understand that our bodies run on biochemistry. There’s no getting around it. Whatever we do, we’re simply getting high!
We’re addicted, constantly hooked on our own chemistry. The only difference is that one kind of chemistry kills us, while another doesn’t.
So if you want to change something in your life, you need to change your chemistry / switch to a different drug / rewire the neural networks in your brain.
So what’s the difference between someone addicted to an external substance, and us?
Let’s see.
When an external substance is taken away, the body goes into shock because the drug is suddenly gone. The body no longer has enough substance, so the craving triggers a strong physical reaction.
In our case, we keep feeding the body the same poison, just in smaller doses. That’s why the body’s reactions aren’t quite as intense. After all, we change our habits gradually. For example, we want peace and begin to experience it more and more often, but that nervous side of us still comes out from time to time, right?
So we’re still giving the body a dose of the chemistry it’s used to, right?
So chemistry is still controlling us, right?
Then what’s the difference if we’re getting high all the time?
Right!
Thanks a lot for reading.
